It's the most reliable brand that I've ever tried. So far I only used the ones with colored covers - this is my very first black covered Leuchtturms, but I'm incredibly satisfied with this product. For 80gsm pages it works really well with all the pens that I'm using (Claro ballpoint & Pilot gelpens, Staedtler fineliners and even Herlitz aquarell pencils with a smaller amount of water). The ghosting isn't that visible if you use both sides of the paper, the bleeding is very minimal. The journal itself holds up really well, it opens flat, the spine doesn't break, you can clean the material easily, that's a bonus for me. Oh, and as far as I know it's fountain pen friendly, but personally never tested. So it's a 5/5* review from me, thank you, DeScris for shipping them safely in only a few days!
